Josef Schwarz, a painter and varnisher from Vienna, expresses his thanks to the Hamburg-America Line and to Captain Hancker of the ship Deutschland.
Apparently, the Captain and a Dr. Schwarz from Hamburg had helped the passenger's wife during the birth of two girls.
