[edit] Republic Calendar of France
The French Republic Calendar was in use from October 24, 1793 to January 1, 1806.
There were thirty days per month and twelve months total. Any days which were left over were used as designated holidays or time-off.
- The Months of Autumn: Vendémiaire, Brumaire, Frimaire;
- The Months of Winter: Nivôse, Pluviôse, Ventôse;
- The Months of Spring: Germinal, Floréal, Prairial;
- The months of Summer: Messidor, Thermidor, Fructidor.
